It has two separate areas, but connected. This will allow sharing the box with two species and test their coexistence easily plugging or not the connection that links them. It also has external connections to link the box to two nests.

The top consists of a fixed lid and two independent removable lids. You can put a thin layer of anti-escape oil on the fixed lid. This ceiling with anti-escape is ideal to prevent escapes of any type of species, since it becomes invulnerable because the layer of oil is upside down. It is similar to the foraging boxes systems in the acrylic horizontal nests, which are so successful.

Suitable for all kinds of species, the Bigmax offers our colonies a large space for foraging. You can decorate it with sand, rocks, branches and other ornament that comes to mind, and experiment with the coexistence of different species.
