QBIK WOOD is the natural evolution of the QBIK system, combining the beauty of natural oak wood with the modular and adaptable design that defines the entire range.

Made entirely from high-density oak wood, this system provides a natural environment especially suited to species that establish their colonies inside tree trunks, branches, cavities or beneath tree bark, as well as any other species that naturally uses similar shelters.

From the founding of a colony with a single queen to the development of colonies with thousands of workers, QBIK WOOD accompanies every stage of growth without the need for transfers, thanks to its simple, safe and fully expandable modular system.

The entire range is manufactured using carefully selected natural wood, free from chemical treatments that could be harmful to ants, preserving its natural properties to provide an environment as close as possible to the one they would find in nature.

IDEAL FOR ARBOREAL SPECIES... AND MUCH MORE

Although QBIK WOOD has been specially designed for arboreal species that establish their colonies in trunks, branches or beneath tree bark, its design is also perfectly suitable for many other species that, in the wild, use natural cavities in wood, roots or similar shelters.

Oak wood provides a more natural environment, with thermal and insulating conditions very similar to those these species find in their habitat, promoting a stable and comfortable environment for the colony.

QBIK WOOD retains the full modular capacity of the QBIK system.

You can expand the ant nest in any direction, modify the module layout whenever you wish and adapt the whole setup to the real needs of your colony.

The connections work through our exclusive wheel system with rotating doors, allowing you to open and close connections easily, block galleries, connect new modules or expand the foraging areas without putting the ants at risk.

The wheel provides complete visibility during operation, greatly reducing the risk of harming workers during any maintenance task.

The system’s robust design provides excellent stability, allowing the setup to be moved safely and making the most of the available space thanks to its square format.

In addition, all modules have a completely flat base, eliminating vibrations and instability that could affect the colony’s well-being.

QBIK WOOD incorporates the same humidity system that defines the entire QBIK range: a reliable, safe system developed to provide a constant supply of moisture exactly where the colony needs it most.

The setup uses a refillable vertical tube that feeds the humidity reservoir through high-quality PVA sponges, gradually distributing moisture to the different galleries of the ant nest.

Thanks to this design, ants can access the humidity area directly to drink, while the system maintains a stable microclimate inside the nest.

By sharing the same humidity system as the rest of the QBIK range, all components and accessories remain fully compatible, offering the same ease of maintenance and reliability that characterize these ant nests.
