Designed to provide water or nectar safely and accessibly, we recommend filling it with water to add extra humidity to the foraging area.
A nectar widely accepted by most species; perfect for supplementing their diet. Place a couple of drops in the feeder so they can easily access it.

You will receive your colony in a test tube prepared with water and food, which guarantees their well-being for 30 days without requiring any intervention, in case it is a gift or you do not have immediate time to set it up.
1. Assemble the Qbik system by connecting the foraging box to the gallery chamber and securing it with the corresponding screw.
2. Moisten the humidity module. This is essential for keeping the interior of the nest at the correct conditions. First moisten the blue PVA sponge by adding a few drops of water, then connect the water-filled tube so it continuously hydrates the sponge.
3. Attach the white test-tube connector piece to an open wheel, then attach the test tube to the wider side of the connector. This will allow the ants to leave the tube and enter the formicarium without escapes.
4. The relocation can take from one hour to several days, depending on the colony’s behavior. Patience is key here.
Once they have settled in the galleries, remove the test-tube connector piece and the tube, then close the wheel. From that moment on, all that remains is to enjoy the growth of your small seed-collecting colony.
