It has two positions of use: Vertical or horizontal. The horizontal is more recommendable in summer and in small nests. To use it horizontally, fill the trough with water, remove the base and plug the end of the trough (tube) with some cotton, fully inserted, making it be wet enough. Then, put it in the foraging area and the ants will bite the cotton to drink. This trough can be used on all models. The water lasts longer without evaporating.

 

WARNING: Remove the plastic protector before use.
