30x20x1.5cm acrylic ant's nest with a high-rise foraging box with lid. It is perfect for large colonies of big species such as Camponotus. 1.5 cm height allows the bigger species to move freely and comfortably through the galleries of the nest. It also has a layer of plaster to maintain higher humidity in the nest.
The high-rise foraging box allows a great mobility. It also makes cleaning easier, as well as the incorporation of food and ants to the nest.
To moisten the nest, use a syringe with water and wet the green foam in a way that it does not absorb more water but allowing the water to spread out and the plaster layer on the floor can absorb it, so that the whole plaster is wet. You must be careful to avoid flooding the galleries. The green foam must always be wet.
It has some holes to connect other nests or auxiliary foraging boxes. Don't forget to block the holes with some cotton.
Suitable for all types of species, but mainly large as Camponotus and from 50 workers or more.
CAUTION: Don't clean with alcohol or another product but soapy water. The acrylic material could get broken. Don't even use talcohol (talcum powder dissolved in alcohol). If still used, it will be under the responsibility of the customer.
