40x30x1.5cm acrylic ant's nest, perfect for large colonies. It has a plaster layer to keep a better humidity level inside the nest. The visibility is also improved. The humidity system is located in both sides of the nest. There is no foraging box present in this kit.
To moisten the nest, use a syringe with water and wet the green foam in a way that it does not absorb more water but allowing the water to spread out and the plaster layer on the floor can absorb it, so that the whole plaster is wet. You must be careful to avoid flooding the galleries. The green foam must always be wet.
It has some holes to connect other nests or auxiliary foraging boxes. Don't forget to block the holes with some cotton.
Easy to clean due to its anchors with screws.
Suitable for all types of species and sizes, from colonies with more than 500 workers in small species or 250 in big species.
CAUTION: Don't clean with alcohol or another product but soapy water. The acrylic material could get broken. Don't even use talcohol (talcum powder dissolved in alcohol). If still used, it will be under the responsibility of the customer.
